Help Philadelphia immigrant newcomers celebrate their first Thanksgiving in the U.S.! NSC provides services to newly arriving refugees, immigrant survivors of torture, and victims of human trafficking, all who are eager to start anew and build a new life in Philadelphia.
This year marks the 10th Annual Thanksgiving Celebration at Nationalities Service Center. This reoccurring event has become an institution at NSC, and we are expected several hundred of our newest Philadelphia neighbors and their friends to attend. The event attracts clients new and old, blending American and newcomer traditions with delicious food and the sharing of dance and music across cultures. Not every guest will share a language, but that will not stop them from sharing food and friendship. Join us and help serve food or other volunteer activity!
